| Ireland rocks! Even though we lost 15-9 (and a poor game, weather was crappy and all points were penalties), Dublin was still so much fun! There are some seriously good shops there, so I'm going to read up on Dublin universities. Also I got to meet the Scotland team twice because we had the same flights as them. Jason White is quite literally HUGE. I feel like a midget in comparison. Even though I am quite small, but whatever. Chris Paterson is hot aussi. It's all snowy out. Thought we were going to be stuck in Ireland for a bit, as Edinburgh Airport was closed, but it reopened this morning. I always think it's weird how no one thinks of March as winter, but this is when we always get our snow. Gavia said the trains were closed yesterday, so if they are closed tomorrow, I won't be able to get to school! *shock horror* Fingers crossed, everyone. I'm using my new laptop to write this. It rocks. But why is my LJ writing all weird? Will have to fix it. Night night,

| Okay, I had waaaay too much homework tonight. First of all for some reason unknown to me, I actually decided to write a non-compulsory Death of a Salesman essay. That's right, you read correctly, NON-COMPULSORY. Of which I have done three in the last week. Which is rather swottish and disturbing but if it gets me an A, I don't mind. Then after I had finished my essay I realised I had two other sets of homework, human bio and maths. How can 5 questions of maths cause so much pain? It is a mystery to me. Now I'm watching Smallville, which I have recently come to like. It's a kind of male alien-esque Buffy, which is never a bad thing. Superman's mommy is about to die, tres sad. Will he save the day? I think so! Fantastic news! Doctor Who's Captain Jack is getting his own spin-off called Torchwood. I'm not sure when it's coming out but it shall be good! New series of DW is coming out in March I think and that shall also be good. David Tennant = very talented but does he rival Christopher Eccleston? We shall see.
Later peeps,

| It's pretty late but I have to post about this while it's fresh in my mind. WE BEAT ENGLAND!!!! Ha! You [English] can take your World Cup and shove it where the sun don't shine! That was the best game EVER. Chris Paterson = talented AND hot! He scored 15/18 of our points and we so nearly scored a try too. Have now officially fallen in love with rugby. Bring on Scotland v Ireland - 11th March! Right okay now I'm going to bed. Byebye, Mairi xxx PS. I've just noticed the amount of exclamation marks in this, appear to have turned into llama_alert. - Mood:Patriotic

| Okay so the subject has a touch of sarcasm but it actually was a pretty good day. Did not get up til 11, which is actually not too bad for me, still in the AM hours. Had to run to bathroom for shower, so Angela (cleaner lady) did not see me in my scary just-rolled-out-of-bed state. Then ran like a mad thing to train station, just in time to see doors shutting and train pulling away. Also people on train, who were doubtlessly laughing at me. Damn them. Spent most of the day shopping with Emma, Amy and Amy's Irish cousins. Saw many nice things, the majority of which were in Urban Outfitters which is a fantastic shop but unfortunately extortionately priced. Amy had to go at 5, to go to drama for 5 hours. In my opinion, 5 hours of anything is an OD. Also went to see Derailed with my BA friends, which was actually pretty good and far better than Jennifer A's other film, Rumour Has It (which by the way is very confusing if you haven't seen/read The Graduate). The highlight was most definitely Jenni's massive scream, which scared me more than the film did. Thankfully ER has been recorded so I don't have to wait til Sunday to watch it. Also Buffy has entered season 7 on Sky One, so will soon be over (sob). Am still lobbying parents for 7 series boxset. Planning to sell things on eBay soon, eg snowboarding jacket I've never worn, hair straighteners and anything else I can find lying around. However am slightly worried no one will buy because I am total newbie user who has no *s. Oh well, I'll see how it goes. Anyway is very late now so I'm off to bed. Night night peeps,

| Hello dude(ette)s, just a quick note to show there actually is someone inhabiting this lj. It's the February week, woohoo! I'm off to Skye in a few hours for some exciting hillwalking and erm, other stuff you do in Skye. Coming back on Tuesday, not sure what I'm doing after that. I WILL see Memoirs of a Geisha at some point before it disappears into movie oblivion, ie on DVD. Watching Buffy just now, 'tis quite a good episode. Anyway I should probs go pack some clothes or something. | |
